(or rather invest) money on things that appreciate, like your house. Next comes your living expenses, then your savings, then your potential future expenses (like education or a washer/dryer set). The last thing you spend your money on are your toys. You're bypassing the first principle right thru all the others to spend money on your toy. If you've got the money in hand to spend on toys then that becomes your reward, in a sense, for saving for all those other things. All I'm saying is that I have spent more money than I care to count on my Z. The thing is, every dollar I paid for.
